To say that Les Brown is “a motivational speaker” speaker is like saying Michael Jordan was “a basketball player”. Les Brown has been motivating and inspiring people with his speeches for decades and is probably the quintessential motivational speaker.

I had the opportunity to listen to Les at the National Speakers Association meeting in New York City a few years back and it was a pleasure to not only hear his words but to also learn how he puts them together and the background for many of the stories he presents on stage.

If you want to build your wish, the third phase is “Whatever it takes”, or, as Les Brown would say, “The game isn’t over until I win.” Get out there, build your dream and don’t give up until you win.

CELEBRITY – Ty Bennett – Commitment

Here is a great quote about Commitment from Ty Bennett…

“When you are interested you do what’s convenient, when you are committed you do whatever it takes.”

How committed are you
to making your wish come true?

The video below of Ty Bennett on stage includes his “Russian Train Story” and his pivotal moment where he decided to commit himself.

What is your commitment to follow through
on your decision to build your wish?

“Commitment is following through on a decision after the emotion of the decision has passed.”

Another great commitment-related quote by Ty Bennett and the video below tells his story about following through on his decision to participate in a 100 mile bike trip with his father-in-law.  Check it out…
